This weekend Edinburgh Watch Company have been exhibiting at the annual Scottish Boat Show held at Kip Marina in Inverkip. This was an exciting time for us as it was our first appearance in the Scottish boating industry. With gorgeous boats on display, fast cars, great food and plenty of other interesting exhibitors this worthy event brought visitors and exhibitors from across the UK. This year we decided to bring the show some luxury swiss timepieces for everyone to enjoy and following feedback from visitors and the show organisers it was a great success.
As keen enthusiasts for anything with an engine we also enjoy spending time on the seas so spending 3 days talking boats and watches was a real pleasure. We have a very beautiful collection at the moment with many related to sailing and the seas, one in particular; the very rare Panerai Radiomir Regatta 343 (Number of 262 of 500) we have in stock.
(The association between classic yachting and Officine Panerai has been renewed for 2010, with the sixth edition of Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge, an international circuit of regattas reserved for vintage and classic sailing boats).
Our selection of pre-owned watches was handpicked for the occasion, we brought our very special Mark 1 Rolex Sea-Dweller Deep Sea, some Submariners and three cracking Yachtmasters. Each watch being waterproof and some with ceramic bezels we knew they would be popular. We also brought two unworn 2017 Omega Planet Ocean’s which being 45.5mm cases suited those looking for something more substantial.
We’re always on the lookout for special time pieces to add to our stock, a couple days before the show we managed to get our hands on a very special limited-edition Omega Seamaster Spectre 007 which had a lot of attention over the weekend.
We wanted to bring something for everyone, along with all the watches more related to boating we had a fantastic display of other luxury timepieces including Rolex, Tag Heuer, IWC, Omega, Breitling, Panerai and Tudor. Overall we had a very enjoyable and successful weekend and would highly recommend visiting next year as we will be going back to exhibit again. A fantastic day out for the whole family and well organised.
