Hope you all had a good weekend!
We’re just back from a pre-Ignition Festival event with our friends at Tartan Tarmac held at the SECC Glasgow
Over 500 cars joined this morning’s monthly event and many were delighted to meet online blogger, YouTube celebrity and supercar aficionado Tim Burton, also known as Shmee150.
His passion for cars has earned him a following of over 7 million across YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Tim produces video blogs of himself driving some of the finest cars on the planet and his content is well worth a watch for any petrol head. As if this beautiful Aston Martin Vantage GT8 isn’t impressive in its own right, he also can be seen driving around in his McLaren 675LT, his Ferrari FF or in his Aston Martin Vanquish.
Having him put his fantastic Aston right next to the Edinburgh Watch Company pop up shop was a treat as well, fortunately we were able to get a few minutes with him to talk cars and watches. We’d been dying to know if Shmee150 was a watch guy as well and we weren’t disappointed to learn that he is. He’s clearly got a great taste in the finer things in life!
Overall the event was a great success and thank you to everyone who came and said hello. This next week we’re getting fired up for the Ignition Festival the 4th- 6th August at the SECC. We hope to see you there.
