Following a very successful weekend at the Royal Highland Show, we’re excited to be exhibiting at Scone Palace this weekend for the annual Scottish Game Fair. The 2018 Scottish Game Fair marks 30 years of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust celebrating conservation and the countryside. To commemorate this anniversary, you can expect to see all your favourites from gundogs, fishing and clays to superb events to enjoy and more than 500 traders to peruse, not to mention our beautiful watches!
There will be a 30th Scottish ceilidh on Saturday night, a standalone Cookery Theatre, and plenty of competitions and ‘have a go’ activities to hone your country sports skills, including The Hull Flush Challenge and Junior Macnab, a free event for those aged 8-21 years. Catch the Classic Land Rover Display, the return of the Four Nations International Gundog Competition and our enhanced Fishing area with demonstrations, expert tips and events a plenty…
There are also so many fantastic places to eat and drink all around the Fair. You can have everything from a three course sit down meal at the ‘pop up restaurant’ to a wood fired pizza, and almost everything in between.
The Scottish Game Fair offers unrivalled access to some of the country’s finest crafts, clothing, equipment and sporting goods. Nearly 500 exhibitors will be in attendance from the world of fishing, shooting, gundogs, game-keeping and land management. The show has a fantastic showcase of all sorts, ensuring there’s something for everyone from quality interior goods for the home to tweed, wool and outdoor clothing as well as specialist equipment for farms and estates.
The event has a little something for everyone, hosted at the very beautiful Scone Palace, it’s certainly not an event to be missed. As you may know by now, we thoroughly enjoy exhibiting at these events, not only is it a good opportunity to showcase our watches but its also an opportunity to catch up with our existing customers and meet new people, it’s also great to see all the attractions and fellow exhibitors.

With us at this event we will be bringing with us a very special watch for those of you with a passion for shooting. Like many other hobbies, shooting requires tools and accessories, primarily there’s the gun, however, you’ll also need your shooting hat, appropriate shooting boots, a smart shooting jacket, a Range Rover and all the other accessories, the list can be endless.
Panerai have been producing excellent timepieces since 1860 and in 2002 Officine Panerai partnered up with luxury gun maker Purdey to produce 100, one-off, limited edition timepieces.
Typically known simply as Purdey, the London-based company has been making the finest hunting shotguns and rifles since 1814, currently holding three royal warrants for supplying the British royal family.
Both Panerai and Purdey share the same focus on excellence and innovation and this has been reflected in each of these special timepieces. What makes this watch special for shooting is the metal case protecting the face of the watch, the protective cover flips up to reveal the dial.
