BTCC 11th-13th August Knockhill Racing Circuit
As I write we are very very close to the prime Scottish motoring event of the season for its the annual visit to Scotland for the British Touring Car Championship. This is the biggest event staged at Knockhill Racing Circuit and it attracts thousands of motorsport fans supporting their BTCC stars.
As a keen motorsport fan I have had the pleasure of three of this years drivers supporting EWC events and I look forward to cheering on Rory Butcher, Aiden Moffat and Gordon Shedden. So three Scots drivers with an in depth Circuit knowledge and all fighting for a podium finish. Gordon aka Flash is working to secure his 4th BTCC championship having already secured championship success during the last three years.
GT Racer Rory Butcher who is son of Knockhill’s CEO and owner Derek Butcher has however just secured a drive in the Shredded Wheat Ford Focus and this will be his debut race.
I expect with this fabulous trio of Scottish talent we will have a huge crowd.
And….trackside keeping excellent time EWC will be exhibiting with our latest collection of luxury watches. So please come and see us, we will be beside the main straight near the karting circuit.

Qualifying is on Friday with racing on Saturday and Sunday. There’s plenty of other racing to watch beyond the BTCC with the Porsche Carrera Cup, F4 and Ginetta championships all there to entertain you.
