Here at EWC we are a big fan of dive watches!
Typically it is a Rolex that you’ll see presented on our website however for as nice as they are it will normally be north of £10000 for a pristine example. We strive to offer our customers choice and feel that Breitling and Omega are excellent alternatives at often half the price or less.
So when this Breitling Avenger 11 arrived this week I thought it certainly deserved to be featured here in our blog.
It was bought new back in 2019 by its original owner and has literally been worn half a dozen times and hence why it was offered to us for sale. We have had one before and I recall how nice a watch it was. The striking dial, sturdy case and sports bracelet were initially what made us snap it up.
A luxury watch however needs to do more than just looking handsome on the wrist and Breitling have powered this watch with a chronometer certified automatic movement with a decent 40 hour power reserve.
For our watersports fans this is perhaps the perfect wristwear as it’s been tested to 3000ft so we think that will satisfy most of your needs.
This exact model was recently discontinued and replaced with a similar model with an index dial along with a price increase to £3700.00. You’ll see this has the arabic hour markers which we think work rather well.
As with all of our stock this comes complete with all of the original Breitling boxes, chronometer certificate and digital warranty card for your peace of mind.
At under £3000 and with circa £1000 off current RRP we think this represents fabulous value for money and would make a wonderful birthday gift too!
