Hello
Today I share with you something very different to our normal range of watches but equally quite striking and extremely rare.
As a high end luxury watch manufacturer Corum is acknowledged both for the aesthetic appeal of its models and for its technical excellence. Since 1955, Corum has adopted creativity and boldness as its guiding principles from it’s home in La Chaux-de-Fonds which is a Swiss town located in the Jura mountains a few kilometers from the French border.
Introduced in around 2000 the Bubble watch was a new addition to the Corum collection and it brought a unique look that really boosted the brand and as a model has a great following. The Bubble watch still plays an important part of Corum’s current collection today
The Bubble watch we discuss here is one of the rarest examples and since it was bought new in 2004 has sat in a private collection and never been worn.
The pictures say it all as it has a look on the dial as seen on world war two fighter planes and with a second that replicating a propellor, so much thought has gone into the design of this limited edition watch.
Aside from the looks it has an automatic movement and date function with a rotating bezel. It is mounted on a thick calf leather strap with deployant clasp that has the option of wearing it with the leather engraved pad which feels extremely comfortable and is quite eye catching.
I think it would make a great gift too as it comes complete with a very cool tin watch case, outer box and limited edition certificate.
At time of writing I have looked around the world wide web and have only found one other unworn watch and just over £4000 which makes our watch a bit of a bargain. So if you are looking to treat someone special or perhaps just want to add something collectible and unique to your watch portfolio this may be with a look.
