EWC flies the flag at Knockhill in the great company of Ferrari

Hello

I have just returned from a great weekend at Knockhill Race Circuit who were hosting the 70th anniversary Ferrari Festival.

With a sea of red exotica it was an enthusiasts visit to heaven! Cars ranged from the La Ferrari to a classic F1 Ferrari with visitors spoiled for choice.

For the drivers the day started with a meeting in North Queensferry before a rare treat as The Forth Road Bridge was closed in one direction to allow them to drive in convoy over the bridge towards Knockhill.

Despite some wonderful weather over the last few weeks the heavens opened at Knockhill on Saturday and made it rather slippy for the field of mainly rear wheel drive sports cars. I saw a rather sad looking Ferrari 458 that had misjudged a corner…hope he had track day insurance!

We set up early in the paddock so were there with our pop up shop to greet the drivers and visitors with a great collection of watches. This is what I like most about attending all these car events. The chance to meet old and new customers and share our passion for cars and watches.

Our beautiful Panerai 359, striking bi metal Daytona were among some of our luxury watches that left our display cabinet to be enjoyed by their new owners so we are on the look out for some more great examples. Please let me know if you have a luxury watch that you may like to sell or part exchange.

So next Saturday 20th we are really looking forward to going the team at Performance Portfolio for Supersonic Saturday. I will write a post next week.

Meantime here are a few photos from the day courtesy of my friends at Tartan Tarmac. If you love all things automotive please check TT out. Its simply a great community of enthusiasts that are brought together by the passion of the TT team of directors.
