Arriving later this week we have managed to source a very rare limited edition pilots watch from International Watch Company.
This is one of 2500 limited edition watches that was made by IWC in 2007/2008 to support the Laureus Foundation children’s charity. Profits from each sale are made by IWC to the charity.
The IWC Spitfire is an iconic pilots watch that has been a very popular model since its introduction due to its distinctive look that has been copied by other manufacturer’s.
All Laureus Fundation watches have a distinctive blue dial that is quite striking.
You can see from the photographs that on the rear of the case there is a drawing that has been etched. This was the chosen drawing from many submitted and makes the watch very special.
You are unlikely to see another as they are so rare and it will make a lovely every day watch or perhaps part of a collection.
The case size is 42mm which is larger than the older spitfires and we think perfectly suits the look and feel of the watch.
It is made from stainless steel and is complimented with a crocodile strap and range buckle.
The watch is in excellent condition and is complete with box and papers and original IWC strap.
