We have here an extremely rare and collectible limited edition watch from the famous luxury watch manufacturer Girard-Perregeaux.
Since 1791 this Swiss watchmaker have manufactured a beautiful range of watches and for some years were the watch partner for Ferrari and during that time they made some striking models.
This model which is finished in 18k rose gold is one of a pair that we bought from a private collection. The GP Papers are dated 2008 however the watch is unworn and in beautiful condition.
It has a hand-wound movement with a highly complex mono push chronograph function. It is however simple to operate with the button starting, stopping and reset the second hand.
Aside from its chronograph function this is a very attractive and enjoyable timepiece to wear as it curved case is crafted to sit comfortably on the wrist. Joining the case is a brown alligator strap mounted on a 18k rose deployment clasp.
The rear of the case is engraved with the 375 Mille Miglia Ferrari and its unique limited edition number of 166/250. These are now sold out and many will be in the hands of a collector.
