Hello
We have just returned from an excellent inaugural event held at Kincardine Castle near Banchory, Aberdeenshire.
It was at this beautiful castle that Tony and Morag Yuill staged a really great motoring festival all helped by glorious sunshine.
Staging a motoring event like this is not new territory for Tony as last year he successfully completed another event at Alford Speedfest where EWC attended too.
Kincardine Castle was a magical location and one of the key features was a short hillclimb for a variety of modern and classic cars to enjoy a sprint up the track.
With a backdrop of the beautiful castle EWC were there with our display of watches and as usual we really enjoyed meeting existing and new customers.
As you will see from the photos there was some magnificent cars on static display, a BMX stunt team, A Land Rover experience and many more things to entertain the crowds.
The day before the heavens opened and threw in some logistic challenges for Tony and his team however I believe that there were probably in excess of 7000 visitors which is a great result.
Setting up my stand is always fun and it was made considerably easier thanks to two great guys Iain and Clark. Thank you guys!
Tony also lent me his beautiful Lotus as my display car. In a glorious shade of yellow and plastered with all the EWC branding it looked fabulous. Not only did it look good it sounded amazing. It’s up for sale now for a cool £50k to make way for his next Lotus. If you fancy it give me a call it’s no ordinary Lotus and from what I hear it has all the bells and whistles to support a really great drive!
Finally my sincere thanks to four new customers who I met on Sunday that chose a new watch for themselves. It is an honour to have your business and I wish you many years of pleasure wearing your beautiful watches.
Next Sunday 28th August we are at Porsche in the Glen. A great day out with circa 150 Porsche’s on show. We will be restocking with some great new watches and look forward to seeing you there. Its at Calderglen Country Park, East Kilbride. 12-4pm
