We have just returned from an excellent sports car event held in Calderglen County Park, East Kilbride.
Named the Porsche in the Glen this is a strictly “Porsche only” event and is run by enthusiast Brian Wood. This event gets better every year and is run free of charge as an opportunity for like minded fans of this iconic brand to get together and show their cars.
The Scottish weather was very kind to us and it made for a really great day as 171 cars turned up and parked in the park.
There was a great selection of classic and modern Porsche’s including a beautiful shiny red GT3 RS owned by a well known motor racing celebrity!
I have known Brian for many years and it was a honour to be invited to attend and showcase EWC’s beautiful collection. We had the chance to see many of our customers and share our passion for Swiss watches.
We had on show various new Breitlings, and a Cosmograph Daytona along with various models from the Cartier and Patek Philippe range.
Here are a few snaps from the day. My thanks to my friends at Tartan Tarmac for their photos. Next weekend 3rd/4th September we will be at the Boness Speed Hill Climb.
