As a change from our fantastic collection of Rolexes we bring you something rather special that was recently traded in from the world famous Swiss watch company Omega.
Introduced to the Seamaster range in 2005 Omega brought a completely new look and design which they named Planet Ocean. This very exciting new addition was designed to go head to head with Rolex as a high quality sports watch which equipped divers to dive deep into the ocean.
Since launch the Planet Ocean has been a top seller and in the last 10 years new variations have been introduced.
Here we have what Omega call Liquidmetal. This is a brand name for their Titanium Planet Oceans and boy what a great looking watch.
It follows the trend for larger watches but in this case I feel its a perfect size in its 42mm guise. While it fits perfectly on the wrist it is really light and unobtrusive. I remember some years ago I had the Planet Ocean Chronograph in stainless steel which was a 45mm. Well I knew I had it on my wrist!
This has the latest generation ceramic bezel, the co-axial movement, helium escape valve and a glass caseback to view the new Omega 8500 chronometer movement.
New today these retail at £5500 which Is fair value for a beautifully engineered watch. We don’t like to sell at High Street prices so offer this with a £1900 saving should you be interested
