Here we have an extremely rare and elegant example from Jaeger Le Coultre.
Finished in 18ct yellow gold throughout this would make an extremely nice watch for a gentleman or perhaps a lady with a larger wrist.
The dial is very unusual in flat black with just striking and sparkling diamonds around the perimeter. As they are enclosed they shine as they did when this was bought from the JLC dealer here in Edinburgh in the late 1980’s
It comes complete with it’s original box but we understand that no papers for the watch were ever made as it is such a rare edition.
Unlike many vintage watches that may have been worn daily this is factory fresh as it has been part of an extensive collection and only worn on very special occasions. It is with this history that it’s owner has asked us to find it a good new home!
The case size is 32mm.
Powering the watch is a quartz movement and we have just recently replaced the battery. This allows for a very slim and elegant case.
