We have just bought this 2022 Breitling Superocean 42 Automatic watch.
The Superocean Automatic 42 is an inveterate diver’s model combining an ultra-sporty look with peerless performance, including its impressive water resistance of up to 500 m. Designed as a tool watch for the active, modern diver, these days the Superocean collection has developed a following amongst leisure diver’s and watch enthusiasts.
Built to last, it’s created from satin-brushed and polished stainless steel, the mid-sized sturdy, round 42 mm case contains an ocean blue dial, adorned with mixed numeral and baton hour indexes and three-hands, all set with a Super-LumiNova® coating for high visibility in dark waters.
Featuring a red arrow seconds hand for diving, a white minutes tracker surrounding the outer rim and a date aperture located at the 3 o’clock position, to ensure you remain punctual in your daily life. Finished with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a cambered, glare-proof sapphire crystal glass cover.
The blue, unidirectional rotating bezel displays clearly visible large numerals, a countdown of the last 15 dive-time minutes and a triangle with a luminescent marker at 12 o’clock. The co-ordinating, blue Diver Pro III silicone strap is durable and filled with character and it fastens with a folding clasp for a secure and comfortable fit on the wrist.
Precision is ensured by a chronometer-certified self-winding Breitling 17 calibre, with 25 jewels and 28,800 vibrations per hour and an impressive 38 hour power reserve.
