Wimbledon 2022, we share of favourite wrist wear!

For our tennis fans it has been another great year of tennis where our British players have made us proud in ladies, mens and wheelchair tennis. We send our congratulations to all those that competed.

So in the spirit of this great championship where the famous Rolex brand is so prominent we thought we would share the stars of our Rolex collection.

At time of writing these are all in stock, many are unworn and each come complete with all their original box and papers.

If Gin is your tipple then you’ll see we have featured a couple of bottles from 1881 Gin who kindly made us our own Gin earlier this year. With a choice of four flavours to choose from and all made in the Scottish border town Peebles this is worth a try. You can visit the distillery too and make your own Gin which would be a great day out and then kick back and stay in their lovely hotel, Peebles Hydro. Please use the code EWC10 to get 10% off your first order. Find out more here

Nicknamed the Wimbledon this unworn 2021 Datejust 41 is the most desirable in the Datejust range. Manufactured in stainless steel and fitted with a white gold fluted bezel it is a real looker! It’s incredibly thin for an automatic watch and waterproof to 100m so a watch for all occasions.

Most of you will think of a nice hot cup of latte when you hear the words Starbucks, but us watch enthusiasts think of the latest 41mm Submariner Date with its ceramic green bezel. This example is a 2021 model and is unworn. Prices while still over RRP are much more realistic now following a slight realignment in the market.

Perhaps my favourite here is this gorgeous Yacht Master 40mm in Stainless Steel and Everose gold. It’s such a slim watch and with a matt black dial contrasting against the Everose bezel it is just wonderful timepiece.

We are pleased to offer a choice of the recently released 36mm Explorer’s. So whether you prefer the classic all steel or maybe instead with a touch of gold these are a great unisex watch. While the Explorer has now returned to 36mm like the traditional one it now features the latest horological technology with a 70 hour power reserve and accuracy to -2/+2 seconds per day.

Getting a sports Rolex from an AD is near on impossible these days unless you are very patient or have a strong relationship with them. This has diverted many buyers onto the Datejust 41 range where a choice of bracelet designs, striking dials and choice of metals finishes gives an all round perfect Rolex. Prices are generally not as much over RRP as sports models and are well worth considering. We feature the classic all steel with a sunburst blue dial along with the luxurious steel/gold with fluted bezel.

When you want the king of the dive watches then look no further than the Deep Sea Sea-Dweller. Designed to withstand pressure up to 12800 ft it is just a masterpiece and with the Deep Blue dial it is a great watch for summer.

And our final four models above blend sport, fashion and elegance.

The now discontinued 18ct Day Date 11 was bought new in 2013 and with just careful owner we doubt you’ll find a better one. It has just been serviced, has a two year warranty, comes as full set and is like new with no stretch to the luxurious president bracelet.

The Submariner Date aka The Kermit is always popular but is now discontinued making way for the 41mm Starbucks Submariner. Celebrating 50 years since the Sea-Dweller was launched is this 43mm model instantly recognisable by its red writing on the dial. And lastly perhaps the most hype model for years is this quite stunning 41m Oyster Perpetual with a turquoise dial but better known as the Tiffany dial. An unworn 2021 example available now and ready to be enjoyed this summer.
