As many of you will already know, here at Edinburgh Company we’re into all things cars and watches. For us, it’s purely an appreciation of engineering, innovation and design which applies to both the timepieces and the cars. We regularly attend motoring events, bringing the watches to your cars and we thoroughly enjoy it. With this in mind, we’d like to introduce one of our partnerships, Edinburgh Watch Company and Border Reivers.
Border Reivers is a classic, race and sports car (primarily Porsche) dealership based on the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond. The director, Tom Fitsimmons is a fellow of the Institute of Motoring and is Porsche factory trained. Having spent 35 years in the industry he has an incredible level of knowledge and care, giving you the peace of mind that you are dealing with an established expert.
Like us here at Edinburgh Watch Company, Border Reivers offer a one to one personal service based on a passion. Viewing the cars is done by appointment only, giving you the opportunity to really make the most of Tom’s expertise.

As you pull up towards Border Reivers showroom near Balmaha, you are met at the gate, which, when opened reveals the incredible uninterrupted views onto Loch Lomond, giving you a certain “wow” factor from the very beginning of your journey with Border Reivers.
The showroom certainly doesn’t disappoint. From the outside you’ll see a large barn standing alone within the grounds of Loch Lomond national park. From Porsche’s 356 Pre-A’s to nearly every model of 911 since the 70’s, Colin McRae’s rally winning Ford Escort and many more fascinating historical pieces, of which Tom will happily and enthusiastically give you the history of.
Having been Porsche factory trained, Tom also runs a Bodyshop facility, meaning all his cars are prepared to the highest standard, leaving no stone unturned to ensure that all his cars are absolutely perfect. He will often find and restore classic cars for re-sale or even simply on behalf of customers who want their own personal touches added to their classic cars.
