Sunday motorsport with the Super Touring Cars at Knockhill

Hope you are having a great start to the weekend.

At EWC we are getting ready to attend the Sunday 4th June annual Super Touring Car event at Knockhill Racing Circuit, near Dunfermline.

We will be exhibiting there with a great collection of luxury watches including some new arrivals including a stainless steel Rolex Daytona, the very popular Rolex GMT Master Pepsi and some very cool Tag Heuers. If you are free tomorrow this could be a great day out.

There is a big line up for the weekend with legendary touring cars from the past and racers such as John Cleland racing his BTCC Cavalier. Asked why fans should attend this weekend’s event, Cleland said:

Just come and see a great event, these cars sound glorious; they are not turbos, they’re not wimpy things; they are really induction sounding and when they get angry they are fabulous cars to watch.”

There will be plenty of other action with the Formula Ford Championship with 30+ racing cars fighting it our around the track. The SMRC Mini Cooper championship is another great spectacle with paint regularly being swapped between cars as they dive through the various corners!

I was up on Friday afternoon seeing Knockhill Directors Rory Butcher and Stuart Gray to discuss the forthcoming World of Supercars event on the 23rd July (put the date in your diary, last years event was fantastic) where will be exhibiting again. If you love your supercars this year is expected to be bigger and better..lets just hope we have a dry day.

Here’s a summary for tomorrows event…hope to see you there! We will be exhibiting in the main paddock.
