Visit Edinburgh Watch Company at 2018 Royal Highland Show

In 10 days from now we’re delighted to be exhibiting at the 178th Royal Highland Show, from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th June.

The Royal Highland Show is one of Scotland’s most iconic events, showcasing the very best of farming food and rural life. A great day out for everyone of all ages, get up close to the country’s top-quality livestock, taste exceptional food & drink and experience rural living at its most vibrant.

As you may know we thoroughly enjoy being out and about with our pop-up shop and having our fantastic selection of preowned timepieces on display for you to enjoy. Events like the Royal Highland Show give us an opportunity to showcase our timepieces to those with a taste for country living and catch up with some of our customers.

As always for events like The Royal Highland Show, we want to make sure we have the right watches for the occasion, this year is no exception. Jonathan has been on the lookout for a selection of timepieces that has something to offer for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a sports watch or something dressier, you can choose from Breitling, Breguet, Girard-Perregeaux, Patek Phillipe, Omega, Rolex, Tag Heuer and more. We also have a beautiful selection of ladies’ watches. You can see our full collection here

If you enjoy spending your weekends shooting, then we have the most perfect watch for you. We have just managed to source a Panerai Luminor Sealand by Purdey.

Panerai have been producing excellent timepieces since 1860 and in 2002 Officine Panerai partnered up with luxury gun maker Purdey to produce 100, one-off, limited edition timepieces.

Typically known simply as Purdey, the London-based company has been making the finest hunting shotguns and rifles since 1814, currently holding three royal warrants for supplying the British royal family.

Both Panerai and Purdey share the same focus on excellence and innovation and this has been reflected in each of these special timepieces. What makes this watch special for shooting is the metal case protecting the face of the watch, the protective cover flips up to reveal the dial. The lion is hand engraved and with only 25 lions ever engraved on these watches, this timepiece is particularly special, and we will have it on display during The Royal Highland Show, so please ask us if you’d like to see it. For more information on this watch please see our blog here.
