One of the best known Rolex watches since it originated in the 1950’s. Originally made by Rolex in partnership with Pan Am the GMT Master was designed for pilots. It’s dual time functionality and bi colour bezel made it easy to determine which time zone they were flying in. The GMT Master is still made today showing how after 60 years this model is still in demand.
At the 2014 Basel watch fair Rolex launched their new GMT Master 11 which has a nickname “Pepsi dial” due to it’s blue and red colours. A stunning watch it is but sadly for most it is made in 18ct white gold and commands a price of £25000. The upside is that it has made this model in stainless steel even more desirable and prices are rocketing making it a great investment and a beautiful and practical timepiece to wear.
This mint one owner model ref 16710 was made in 2002 and has a K serial number. It comes complete with it’s inner and outer box, chronometer certificate, instruction manual and tag.
It has just had a full service, polish, a brand new genuine Rolex Pepsi bezel insert and backed up by a 24 month warranty.
Would suit a lady or a gentleman wanting something classic, sporty and elegant.
The GMT Master is very rare these days and prices are on the rise. This is a collectable watch and will be a great investment which can be stored in a safe or even better enjoyed every day!
