We have been very fortunate to purchase this very rare Girard-Perregeaux Chronograph that has been unworn since it was bought new in 2006
The brand Girard-Perregeaux needs no introduction as it has a lengthy history as a very prestigious manufacturer of luxury Swiss timepieces.
In 2006 they were the watch partner for Ferrari and in collaboration with this wonderful sports car brand made a series of exquisite watches.
This example is a Limited Edition of only 200 pieces with this being No.11
It comes complete with a Ferrari box and all appropriate Girard-Perregeaux papers dated 2006
Technical information:
Movement: mechanical, with automatic winding; Girard-Perregaux in-house Caliber GP40CO; 62 jewels; power reserve approx. 40 hours.
Functions: hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds; chronograph; date.
Case: titanium; 40 x 13.3 mm (excl. lugs & crown); screw-in titanium crown; titanium push-buttons; case back secured by 7 screws, with sapphire exhibition window. Water-resistant to 50 meters.
Dial: black carbon fiber with counter-sunk red sub-dials; luminous Arabic numerals; luminous polished sword hands. Indications: subsidiary seconds at 3; date between 4 and 5; hour counter at 6; minute counter at 9; sweep chronograph seconds hand; tachymeter scale on the dial flange.
Strap: GP black rubber, with matching titanium deployant clasp.
